Lake Como Wedding Films
Cinematic wedding films among Como’s villas and water — an hour from our Milan base.
01 — Lake Como
Filmed the way the place asks to be
There's a reason Lake Como has drawn couples for centuries: the light here does something unusual. It comes off the water twice — once from the sky, once from the lake — and wraps the villas, the cypress trees and the old stone in a glow that film loves. For a wedding film, Como is almost unfair. Everywhere you point the camera, there's depth: mountains behind gardens, gardens behind water, a boat crossing the frame at exactly the right moment.
We film weddings across Como the way the lake asks to be filmed — slowly, and with room to breathe. The morning preparations in a villa suite with the windows open. The crossing by wooden Riva to the ceremony. The vows with the lake as a backdrop no set designer could improve. Aperitivo on a terrace as the hills turn from green to gold to blue. It's a day built for cinema, and our job is to stay out of its way.
Como also happens to be home for us. We're based in Milan, just over an hour from the lake, which means we know the light at Tremezzo in June and the way the afternoon shadows fall at Bellagio in September. We can scout in person, arrive unhurried, and — because the lake is so close to our base — keep your logistics simpler than most.
If you're marrying on Lake Como and want a film that feels like the day rather than a highlight reel of it — honest sound, warm colour, and the patience to let real moments happen — we'd love to talk.

03 — Local questions
The questions couples ask
Can you fly a drone over Lake Como?
Sometimes — but the lake has restricted zones and several villas and municipalities limit drones. We confirm what's possible for your specific venue and date in advance.
When is the best time to marry on Lake Como?
Late May–June and September–early October give the most reliable light and gardens. July–August are beautiful but busier; shoulder seasons can be wonderfully quiet.
Do you film ceremonies that cross the lake by boat?
Yes — boat arrivals and crossings are some of Como's most cinematic moments. We plan the logistics with you and your planner.
How early do you arrive?
Because we're based nearby in Milan, we arrive unhurried and can scout in person beforehand.
