I'm Alessandra. I make wedding films in Italy — for couples who often travel here to marry, and who want the day remembered the way it actually felt.
01 — Story
Why Italy, why film
I grew up with this country's light — the way it falls through shutters at noon and turns gold an hour before dinner. Somewhere along the way I realised photographs were keeping the faces but losing the sound: the laugh, the shaking voice in the vows, the music three streets away. Film keeps all of it. That's why I do this.
I've filmed weddings the length of Italy — from villas above Lake Como to vineyards in Tuscany and cliffsides on the Amalfi Coast. I'm based in Milan, which keeps the north close and the rest of the country a comfortable train or drive away.
02 — Approach
Quietly, and on your side
My approach is documentary first. I'm not there to pose you or run a shot list through your day — I'm there to notice. The editorial part comes after: warm, filmic grading, honest sound, and edits that breathe. I'd rather show you one true moment than ten arranged ones.
I also believe a wedding film should age well. Trends pass; the way your grandmother held your hand does not. So I keep the styling restrained and let the day carry the film.
03 — The team
A small, calm team
Most days it's me, with one or two trusted people when a wedding needs a second perspective — a second camera at the ceremony, an extra angle for the speeches. We move lightly and stay out of the way, so your guests remember a wedding, not a film crew.
04 — The craft
Tools you'll never notice
The cameras, lenses and audio are professional and redundant — backups for the moments that only happen once. But the equipment is the least interesting thing about your film. What matters is where it points, when, and what it chooses to leave out.
